The New Coastline

This project proposed a hexagon shaped modular  unit, which was transformed from the concrete tetrapod placed on the coastline, known as ‘tidal breaker’. The specially shaped living unit can be composed into a series of flexible community areas by creating various levels of public and private spaces.

This proposal looks at the modular home as an aggregable community integrated  within a greater social, water, and power infrastructure, illustrating the life stories of 21st century climate change survivors.
